How did we get from a contentious fight in the state legislature to a successful compromise? We begin the Craft Beer Peace Summit with Kim Kavulak, Co-Owner of Nebraska Brewing Company and Dave Tims, President and General Manager of Premier-Midwest Beverage Company. Also joining Dan is Vanessa Silke of Baird Holm, LLP and Abbey Gillick of Quality Brands Distribution, LLC. We talk about how everyone came together to collaborate after the heated battle around LB632 in Nebraska Legislature last year.
Chief Executive Officer
Parsons Public Relations, Inc.
Over the past two decades, Dan has provided professional counsel to United States senators, governors, business executives, policy makers and opinion leaders on issues affecting our state and nation.
Dan is the former manager of public relations for Lovgren Marketing Group in Omaha, Nebraska. He also served as vice president of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, directing all areas of communication for the state’s most respected business organization. As special assistant to the Nebraska Attorney General, his duties included press secretary, speechwriter, policy advisor, and legislative lobbyist.
Parsons Public Relations, Inc. based in Lincoln, Nebraska, was founded in 2003. Our consulting, public relations, and marketing services help businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies pinpoint and convey their core values.
“Dan’s ability to customize his approach for any audience was the reason I asked him to present Brand Camp to our team. He puts his expertise and experience to work in a way that engages people and leads to an interactive discussion. Each of the attendees walked away with a new perspective on personal branding, and what it means to their current position, their company and their career.”
Senior Manager Marketing Communications
“We included Brand Camp as part of our association’s Leadership Institute for members in the early stages of their careers. It’s a participatory, engaging presentation that provided some highly practical and transferable ideas to help these new members be more successful in business and position them to be more effective in leadership roles. We had excellent feedback from class participants and they highly recommended we incorporate Brand Camp into future Leadership Institutes.”
